Reproducible when the number of collections is 800+.
As you can see in the attached screenshot of Chrome performance profiler, the busiest stack is (bottle-up):
Drag'n drop is compounded of several steps of interaction:
1. clic and hold the item: feedback is supposed to indicate that the item is selected
2. move the item to its destination: a placeholder is supposed to appear at the destination spot
3. release the clic: the item is supposed to be inserted in the targetted spot
Currently, step 1 takes 23 seconds ; step 2 takes 30 seconds ; step 3 is fine.
I need to hold the mouse for 53 seconds to drag'n drop a collection!!!
I really enjoy Raindrop for the other features, but I'm looking for another solution that would work seemlessly. It is so painful to order collections that I just feel too anxious to open the app...
Big problem for me as I have a large number of collections. Anytime I move a single collection the UI completely freezes for some time. Also moving the collections in the first place has proven to be very buggy. The ability to select several collections and move them together would be a great help. Currently it is taking me ages to move a number of collections out of their parent collection, as each move results in a freeze.
I agree, too slow!
