The red badge on the macOS Safari extension button looks cut off and is a lot when you're viewing a page already in a collection. I find my eye drawn to the bright red, but not in a good way, I'd suggest maybe something like the attached image. Something that still shows there is something in your collection, but not in a "LOOK AT ME!" red notification style.
