"Order/sort by" different in different folders.

I wish it were easier in general to assign custom settings to each folder, tag, etc. My biggest frustration with Raindrop is that I feel like I'm constantly changing settings, re-ordering things, adding temporary tags, etc. to get what I need.

This custom sorting is very important.. Some bookmarks in specific collections need to be sorted manually in order of accessing those sites, while some by name and some by latest/oldest..

I would also like to be able to have different sortings in different collections.
I'm using a collection for TODOs, where I would like to have sorting by date added, a folder for "daily tasks" that needs manual sorting and other collections where I prefer alphabetical sorting.
The need to always change that setting because there's just one global setting is quite annoying with lots of bookmarks.
Especially when seeing that the layout (e.g. Cards, List, Headlines view) can be set for each folder independently, it seems inconsistent to me that the sorting does not provide this functionality.
I hope that "Planned" means something here, given the fact that the initial request is way more than 3 years old.

It would be great to extend that "customization by folder" to the layout choice (list, cards, show title/desc, ...).

Rustem Mussabekov: Would be fantastic to have this functionality. I was confused why my folders all reverted when I changed a certain folder's sort order.

Rustem Mussabekov: Late to this post—although the "planned" change hasn't happened yet—but wondering if this will include sorting by drag n drop.

Rustem Mussabekov Planned for 4 years now and nothing has happened! Seems like a bug that should take max an hour to fix. Dissappointing.

Yes this would be so nice!

Yes, even though there's an option to apply to all folders - which doesn't work.

terry: Is there? Whether or not, I hope "customization by folder" gets implemented with an option for the choice to apply to all sub-folders.
