Multi Authentication with Google Authenticator to safely access public PCs too because even if a public PC is infected with virus, they wont be able to login into account unless they type in 2nd authenticator access code.
If not already started please consider implementing FIDO2 based 2FA/MFA and passwordless authentication like e.g. implemented in Microsoft Authenticator app.
Agree, a must. Few progress over the last 3 years on this item.
A must have for any service that hold personal information
If you're going to add 2FA, it would also be nice if you could add support for one of the formats that works with Yubikey.
🤔 Isn't this mostly covered by using Google SSO w/ an account that has multi-factor enabled? It's one of the main reasons I use Google SSO ... unless the app asks for permissions to contacts for no reason in which case I usually just uninstall.
Is this for authentication methods that don't support 2FA out of the box?
@Ken Colton: I didn't create my account as tied to google, so I don't have the SSO option, which I would imagine is Mamikin's concern as well. If I want to use the basic email login rather than attach to a third party login, I don't have any SSO/2FA option. I'd love it if it could be added as well or offer SAML integration with SSO products like Okta.
This feature is quickly becoming a necessity for online tools that contain your personal data (as well as many others, I consider the websites you bookmark and visit frequently to constitute personal/sensitive data).
