Rustem Mussabekov: I'm glad we have the client.... But I think I speak for many linux users that Snap... Isn't really that common to use.
It's basically only used on Ubuntu and there is a general dislike for it.
Flatpak seems to become the default for 'cross distribution' linux apps. So please consider also publishing on the Flathub

Rustem Mussabekov: Please port to flatpak instead. No one likes snap.

They’ve published ir as a snap (see below) and I’m using it. I personally would prefer installing it as flatpak. Would that be an option? Doesn’t seem difficult porting it… thanks for the work!

Think this is resolved now with https://snapcraft.io/raindrop which just released today?

Grant Willcox: TECHNICALLY yes. But most people can't or don't want to use snap packages.
Flatpak is a much better format
(and there are legit objective reasons to not use snaps. They're slower to load, mainly meant for ubuntu/debian based systems, not an open distribution method)

It's really important!

5 years and counting. Building a desktop client for Linux should not be very difficult, especially since you already have a Mac client. Macs are built on BSD UNIX, which is very close to Linux. I don't want to have to use Google Chrome in order to run an application!!

My main system is Linux. It will be a big advantage for me to have it in linux, like some of other applications
Thanks

Yeah.. Just make a snap out of it.
