I would prefer an auto backup solution that does not require me to have an account with another company and trust them with my data. The first option that comes to mind is email, can Raindrop email me my export html file, on a time interval? A second option could utilize the desktop/mobile apps access to my disk to save backup exports, similar to how Signal backups work.
Support macos Spotlight search
I'm using Spotlight to launch bookmark pages a lot and it's really efficient. Now since I migrated all my bookmarks to raindrop I can't do it anymore and it's literally a pain. Currently there are a whole bunch of apps that supports Spolight, e.g. 1Password, Papers, Dash, Evernote etc. So I hope raindrop can follow up soon!
Google Search Integration
Bookmarks should be shown on Google Search, similarly to Evernote and Papaly
Save tweets and threads
Twitter has become a huge content space for lot of Indies and startups. Would like to see a bot that saves the tweets and threads from the Twitter interface. Basically the way I am seeing this is, I will DM to raindrop account on Twitter to save my tweet or thread.
Sync with Chrome
Google Chrome Bookmarks shall synchronize automatically with Raindrop. If I change bookmarks in Raindrop, the bookmarks of Chrome shall change accordingly.
More choices for backup
Much like the existing Dropbox backup, but allow us the choice to backup to OneDrive, Amazon Cloud Drive, etc
Safari Reading List integration
Might as well be able to copy over any link I add to my Safari Reading List. That has benefits for MacOS and iOS users.
It would be great to have Slack integration, both ways. From Slack to a Raindrop Collection and from Randroip to a Slack Channel.
